Rev Les Isaac is the founder and CEO of Ascension Trust. He pioneered Street Pastors in the UK in 2003. It has now established around 300 initiatives in the UK an author, public speaker and was awarded an OBE by her Majesty the Queen, as well as projects in several countries around the world.

About Dr. Jacky

Dr Jacky McLeod is a frontline NHS GP of nearly 30 years’ experience. Having been awarded a Health Foundation Quality Improvement Fellowship and gained a Master’s in Public Health from Harvard USA, she became Medical Director for South-East London Doctors’ Co-operative, leading the quality agenda for out-of- hours care.

Since 2013, she has applied her values and specialist expertise to clinical commissioning, with a focus on improving access to quality care and addressing health inequalities. Dr McLeod is also an ordained minister in her local church.

Rev Pauline Young is an ordained minister with Assemblies of God UK. She has worked in church leadership for over 30 years, helping to shape and implement vision, locally, citywide and at times nationally alongside her husband, as senior leaders of Mount Zion Community Church in Aston, Birmingham.

Elijah Bossa is a Lead Associate in the Competition Policy division of the Financial Conduct Authority(FCA) where he helps to provide advice to the government on competition and regulatory markets affecting the UK’s financial services sector.

Elijah is passionate about engaging academically on diversity and inclusion matters and he is a freelance writer on an eclectic range of matters including African economic development, international law and constitutional theory.

Revd. Dr. Sheila A Belgrave

About Redv. Dr. Sheila

Revd Dr Sheila A. Belgrave is a dynamic woman of God, serving as an ordained Minister at NewDay Ministries Church UK. She is a sought-after national and international preacher, lecturer, counsellor, and motivational speaker, committed to helping the Church remain relevant in today’s society.

With over 40 years of experience in the Civil Service and Government, Sheila brings invaluable expertise to her ministry. Her leadership roles include CEO and several directorships in public sector organisations. She has also served on numerous boards as a non-executive director and trustee, and currently sits on the board of a homeless charity.

Sheila is a co-founder of EmpowHer to Rise and Soul Sisters Ministries, which offer practical support and spiritual healing for women. She chairs multiple community projects addressing mental illness, domestic violence, and homelessness. Through her consultancy, SAB Consultancy, she works with private and public sectors on Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, as well as organisational transformation.

As a prison chaplain, lecturer in Church History and Eschatology at Calvary Theological College, and founder of a sponsorship program in Mombasa, Kenya, Sheila’s impact is global. She is also launching a vocational training school in Kenya in 2025.

What sets Sheila apart is her unwavering dedication to serving the vulnerable both in the Church and the wider community. Guided by her faith in Christ and a strong sense of purpose, she aims to leave a lasting legacy. Sheila holds an MBA, degrees in Theology and Humanities, a Postgraduate Certificate in Kingdom Theology, and a Doctorate in Ministry and Theology.

Sheila is a proud mother of three daughters and grandmother of five.

Dr Charlotte Veronica Viola Johnson is the Oliver Lyseight Lectures Lead for New Testament Church of God (NTCG), a published author, and a Postgraduate Researcher. She worked for the NHS and local government sector before full-time ministry.

As a qualified executive coach and leadership mentor she believes “My purpose in life is to serve God, and through serving God I serve His people.”

Daniel Stone

About Daniel

Daniel Stone is a Programme Lead based in the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. Based in Birmingham, Daniel is Chair of a Local Governing Board and a trustee of Black Heritage Fund – a charity which raises funds for organisations serving the Black community.

Daniel is a former coordinator of the Target Oxbridge programme and is the author of ‘After Oxford’, which tells his journey through the UK education system.

Janice Gittens

Janice Gittens is an educator, trainer, facilitator and thought leader with over 30 years’ experience in the UK charitable sector. She has worked as a teacher of business studies, and as a senior manager in the elds of mental health, criminal justice, and addictions.

Janice is a psychoanalytic coach and is the creator of ‘Real Talk’, an intersectional, feminist space for women to voice and address issues of race, gender, and sexuality.

Jonathan Brooks

About Jonathan

Jonathan Brooks is an aspiring academic. He holds degrees in ‘Theology and Religion’ and ‘Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Science’ from the University of Birmingham and is currently studying an MSc in the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at King’s College London.

He is interested in contributing to clearer thinking and more meaningful dialogues on various subjects of socio-political subjects relating to race social analysis and mental well-being.

His current research interests include the relationship between Church and World. Mark is also founder and Board Chair of Grace and Light International Ministry, and a founder and Board member of Eden Creation Care Initiative.

Melvin is married and has two children. He is a member of a local church and serves as a Governor of the school he attended and as the Trustee of a charity devoted to raising funds for a school in South London.

Dr Ola Epemolu is a Principal Research Scientist in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) at Charles River Laboratories Edinburgh Ltd. Ola obtained his Ph.D in Pharmacy and M.Sc. in Biopharmacy from King’s College, University of London and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Ola’s industrial career started as a Pharmacokineticist with Celltech-UCB in 1993 before moving to Scotland to set up and lead the DMPK function of Organon Laboratories.

Rev Sandra Schloss is a Church of England Priest at St Luke’s Church in Peckham, within the Camberwell Deanery and the Area Dean for Camberwell. Prior to becoming a Priest full- time, she worked for HMRC for 33 years. Sandra has a BA with Hons in Theology for Christian Ministry
